HOSTS for HOSPITALS is a unique nonprofit agency providing free or low-cost lodging and support at volunteer host-homes as a caring response to the housing needs of patients and their families who come to Greater Philadelphia for specialized medical treatment.

Hosts for Hospitals is a 501(c)(3) organization.

You are invited to participate in the 2019 Rotary District 7430 Strike-Out Hunger Phillies Game at Citizen's Bank Park on Thursday, August 15, 2019.  Game time is 7:05 p.m.; the Phillies will be playing the Chicago Cubs.  For each ticket sold by Rotary Clubs, the Phillies will rebate $10 to Rotary  International Foundation or PolioPlus. These funds will be contributed in the name of our club and we will received an acknowledgement of our gift.  Tickets range in price from $20 to $47 each.

Rotary asks that everyone attending the game bring a non-perishable food item to be placed in the containers at the entrance to the ballpark.  In addition, Rotary International president Mark Maloney will be in attendance and will throw out the "first pitch."  Bring family, friends, prospective Rotary members, etc. for a good time at the Phillies.  Attendees will coordinate their own transportation.

Jason Donmoyer has agreed to be the ticket coordinator for our club.  Please sign up via this event invitation and he will coordinate the purchase of the tickets for our club.  Please see attached flyer for more details.

Join us to welcome Brad and learn more about the newest member of our club.  Following Brad, Sarah Bergin will interview Al Engle about his success off "Capturing the Moment" in Hamburg, Germany.  More than 24,000 Rotary members from 170 countries gathered from 1-5 June to attend the 110th annual Rotary International Convention. 

The Broad Theatre, located at 24 W. Broad Street in Souderton, opened July 21, 1922, with 700 seats for movies and vaudeville acts. The theatre was renovated in the 1940’s and was closed in 2006.  The location was recently purchased.  Join us to learn what the status is of this major renovation project.

On this club assembly week for committee's we will also hear from our new district governor, Herb Klotz

Our club will assist with the collection of non-perishable items for Keystone Opportunity Center.

Join us as we hear from the founder of the Pennsylvania Polio Survior's Network on the importance of finishing the fight against polio.  Pennsylvania Polio Survivor’s Network, is an organization that provides resources for people living with post-polio syndrome, an illness that can affect polio survivors 10-20 years after being infected with the virus, and which also impacts their families.  

October 24 is World Polio Day.  A day when thousands of Rotary clubs around the world will hold events and fundraisers to recognize our progress in the global fight to end polio.

Join us as ST Rotarian John Young introduces Souderton Area High School Students our club sponsored at the annual Rotary leadership camp,  Camp Neidig.

The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce Education Committee along with Souderton-Telford Rotary will be hosting the holiday membership luncheon to recognize the business mentors of the community.
